Migrating from MySQL to Postgres in Ubuntu

Dump your database:

mysqldump --compatible=postgresql --default-character-set=utf8 -r databasename.mysql -u root databasename

Convert the dump to Postgres syntax using https://github.com/lanyrd/mysql-postgresql-converter:
