What I wrote in this howto for those exe's is a relative path, but you need to use the actual path to the installer file. I just updated this howto to include OSX Catalina.

hi there, im stuck at:
. Make an alias to run the game from Terminal w/ a simple command:
$ vim .bashrc
alias d2="cd
/.wine_d2/drive_c/games/diablo\ ii && WINEPREFIX=/.wine_d2 wine game.exe -3dfx -direct -txt"
when i enter the code it stuck at ...".bashrc" [New] for an hour and nothing happen. Can you help me please? Or how can i start the game without alias plss

Hello!
I'm entirely new to coding, and I was wondering if you could provide me with a foolproof explanation of the following.
I get stuck at "Run the EXE files to install the game: ". It gives the following error:
wine: cannot find 'd2/installer.exe'I'm able to open Registry Edit, but have no idea how to use the programme and Google isn't helping me.
I'm sure if you could help me with this, I could figure out the rest. If it's of any help, I'm running Mojave 10.14.6.
