This can be used in Mac by using following trick:

Open trial.key at path: /Applications/Beyond\ Compare.app/Contents/Resources/trial.key
Replace content of trial.key with:

Key revoked. I deleted BC4Key.txt then ran as administrator, entered the key again.. It worked :)

It worked for me but rather than enter the code into the software you just need to create a file called BC4Key.txt in the Folder Path "C:\Program Files\Beyond Compare 4" and paste the key into that. Then when you open Beyond Compare it's already registered as the pro version. My version is 4.15 so maybe it doesn't work with later versions

I am having last trial left and using the portable version 4.4.7 (build 28397) (kept at C:\Users\user\Desktop\Beyond Compare 4\BCompare.exe), and I have:

1. delete all files from users/[user name]/AppData/Roaming/Scooter Software/Beyond Compare 4
2. no BC4Key.txt in the Folder Path C:\Program Files\Beyond Compare 4.

But still getting the This license key has been revoked error.

Is there any permanent way to get the pro license (either for version 4.4.7 or 5.0.6?
