/* Sometimes it's pretty easy to run ito troubles with React ES6 components.
Consider the following code: */
class EventStub extends Component {
componentDidMount() {
window.addEventListener('resize', this.onResize.bind(this)); //notice .bind
} | |
componentWillUnmount() {
window.removeEventListener('resize', this.onResize.bind(this)); |
/* bling.js */ | |
window.$ = document.querySelector.bind(document);
window.$$ = document.querySelectorAll.bind(document);
Node.prototype.on = window.on = function(name, fn) { this.addEventListener(name, fn); };
NodeList.prototype.__proto__ = Array.prototype;
NodeList.prototype.on = function(name, fn) { this.forEach((elem) => elem.on(name, fn)); }; |
When hosting our web applications, we often have one public IP
address (i.e., an IP address visible to the outside world)
using which we want to host multiple web apps. For example, one
may wants to host three different web apps respectively for
example1.com
, example2.com
, and example1.com/images
on
the same machine using a single IP address.
How can we do that? Well, the good news is Internet browsers
// this is the background code...
// listen for our browerAction to be clicked
chrome.browserAction.onClicked.addListener(function (tab) {
// for the current tab, inject the "inject.js" file & execute it
chrome.tabs.executeScript(tab.ib, {
file: 'inject.js' | |
}); | |
}); |
