Super Glue on tiny small plastic parts with small surface area overlap

Cyanoacralate, CA Glue, Super glue, Loctite.

Any of these can hold most kinds of material together if there is enough surface area.

What do you do if you have a tiny plastic part that you just snapped in half?

A cheap smart watch had a clasp part made of nylon or abs plastic that snapped. How did I fix it?

Removing a Bead of Silicone Caulk from a Urathane Countertop

Clean up Sticky/Uncured Silicone

Wipe up as much as you can with a disposable paper towel or toilet paper.

Isopropol alchohol should do it, or acetone or goo-gone, will get the last bit of sticky silicone off the surface.

The False Concession

Sounds like agreement. Isn't.

Lizard Lamps, for your hands! Heated Desk Mats? Envavo Heat Buff?

A few years ago I was in a cold (somewhat drafty) office with poor heating options.

A space heater helped. Wearing a jacket and a beanie helped. But typing with gloves on wasn't in the cards.

So I looked around and saw ads for the Envavo Heat Buff, but I couldn't find a way to buy one.

I ended up looking towards heat lamps, what are used for repiles and so forth and found a combo that worked for my setup.

Finding something like this:

7z to make arbitrary zip of a single file for upload/download

Hopefully you have a programming language that supports some sort of native compression scheme for uploads and downloads.

If not, you can use zip/unzip. But what about onto machines that don't have zip/unzip? What about 7zip?

This seems like a lot, but for a single file up and down with compression in a language that doesn't do it for you, it works okay...

This is a serverside rename, zip, upload, then client side download setup.

Given a file you want to zip before uploading, and you want to set the name of the file to be a secure_filename... There are a few steps.
