1 cup onion, diced | |
3/4 stick butter | |
2 tsp salt | |
4 tsp bullion | |
6 cups water | |
3 tbsp paprika | |
4lbs chicken thighs | |
7 tbsp flour | |
1 cup plain yogurt (or sour cream, but yogurt is smoother in the end) | |
brown onions in butter | |
when it achieves desired texture/color, dump in paprika, cook for a few seconds | |
dump in water | |
add bullion/salt | |
add chicken | |
boil, then simmer, for 45 minutes | |
combine flour and yogurt | |
add to pot | |
stir to combine | |
yogurt will be lumpy and appear to not mix, this is expected, but it'll work out | |
boil, then simmer, for 15 minutes | |
Serve over noodles or mashed potatoes |
