This Privacy Policy describes how Number Forge (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you use our mobile puzzle game Number Forge (the “App”), available on Android and iOS.
If you have questions about this policy, contact us at: [iamaroott@gmail.com]
- Number Forge is an offline-first game. We do not require an account, and we do not operate our own servers to collect your personal data.
- Game progress, settings, and gameplay statistics are stored locally on your device.
- The App may show optional rewarded video ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect data for advertising and measurement as described below.
- We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
To provide gameplay, the App saves data on your device using local storage (Capacitor Preferences). This may include:
- Game progress (scores, high scores, run history counters, achievements, unlocks)
- In-game currency and meta progression (for example resonance, forge nodes, daily/weekly mission progress)
- Settings (language, music/SFX volume, haptics preference)
- Aggregated gameplay analytics stored locally (for example run starts, ad offers viewed, session timestamps)
This data stays on your device unless you delete the App, clear app data, or use a device backup feature that includes app data.
We do not receive this locally stored information on our servers because the App does not send it to us.
When ads are enabled, the App uses Google AdMob to display rewarded video ads (optional; for example after a run to claim a bonus). AdMob is operated by Google LLC.
AdMob and its partners may automatically collect information such as:
- Advertising ID (AAID on Android / IDFA on iOS, where applicable and permitted)
- Device type, operating system version, and general device identifiers
- IP address (which may be used to infer approximate location)
- Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks, rewards completed)
- App activity related to ad delivery and fraud prevention
We do not control how Google processes this data. For more information, see:
You can limit personalized ads in your device settings:
- Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization
- iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising (and/or Tracking settings)
We do not ask for or collect:
- Name, email address, phone number, or postal address
- User accounts or login credentials
- Precise GPS location
- Contacts, photos, microphone, or camera data
- Payment card details (the App does not currently process in-app purchases)
The App requests INTERNET access primarily to load and display ads. The core game can be played without creating an account.
| Data | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Local game save data | Save progress, settings, achievements, and gameplay features |
| Local analytics counters | Improve balance and understand feature usage during development (stored on device only) |
| Ad-related data (via AdMob) | Show optional rewarded ads, measure ad performance, prevent fraud, and comply with ad network policies |
We do not sell your personal information.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, our legal bases may include:
- Performance of a contract / legitimate interest: providing the App and saving local game data on your device
- Consent: where required for personalized advertising (managed through your device/ad settings and Google’s ad technologies)
We do not share data from your local save file with third parties because it is not transmitted to us.
We share limited technical context with Google AdMob when ads are shown, as required for ad delivery. Google may share data with its advertising partners under its own policies.
We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users or the public.
- Local app data: retained on your device until you delete the App, clear storage, or reset your device. On Android, device backup may copy app data if backup is enabled.
- Ad data: retained according to Google AdMob’s retention practices.
We use reasonable measures appropriate to a local mobile game (for example checksum validation on save data). No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure.
Because gameplay data is stored on your device, you are responsible for keeping your device secure.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal data.
Because we do not operate user accounts or receive your local save data, the most effective way to remove App-related data is:
- Uninstall the App, or
- Clear app storage/data in your device settings
For AdMob-related data, use Google’s ad settings and privacy tools linked above.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA): We do not sell personal information. You may contact us to exercise applicable rights.
EEA/UK residents (GDPR): You may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Number Forge is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the applicable age in your country).
If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact [your-contact-email@example.com] and we will take appropriate steps to delete it where possible.
The App is developed and offered globally. If you use the App outside your home country, data processed by Google AdMob may be transferred to and processed in countries where Google operates, including the United States.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date at the top. Material changes may also be communicated in the App or on our store listing where appropriate.
Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
