1. Go to https://github.com/gamefreak/Conversations/releases/latest
2. In the downloads section click the entry ending in .apk
3. Once it finishes downloading click open
4. When prompted click install
5. Once install completes, click open
6. Click use my own provider
7. Enter your JID and password.
8. Click next
9. When asked to publish an avatar either follow the instructions or click skip (I don't care)
10. Doesn't matter if Conversations accesses your contacts
11. Click the 3 dots in the upper right followed by settings.
12. Press Download Ponymotes
13. Set fire to the palace whilst escaping with the phantom princess and her singing marmoset named George.
14. press the back button to ge to the start conversation screen.
15. Click on the conferences tab
16. If the chat is listed just tap on it and you are done
17. otherwise tap the + button in the upper right followed by join conference.
18. Enter "[email protected]/Pinkie Pie" and then press join
19. You should be done
