The given text file contains encrpyted bytes. Your goal is to decrypt the message. In order to do so you need to identify a secret key (3 lowercase letters) which is used to encrypt the message as follows:
The same mechanism is used to decrypt the key, which is possible given the nature of XOR (65 XOR 42 = 107, and 107 XOR 42 = 65).
In order to idenfiy the key you must work with the assumption that the text contains english and that we can measure how "english like" a body of text is simply by counting the number of spaces. So they key you are looking for is that one that yields the most number of spaces in the encryped text.
