Example of using Meteor.methods() and Meteor.call()
if (Meteor.is_client) {
Template.hello.greeting = function () {
return "Welcome to XYZ.";
};
Template.hello.events = {
'click input' : function () {
// template data, if any, is available in 'this'
if (typeof console !== 'undefined')
console.log("You pressed the button");
console.log(Meteor.call('test', 1, function(e, r) {
console.log('e', e);
console.log('r', r);
}));
}
};
}
if (Meteor.is_server) {
Meteor.startup(function () {
// code to run on server at startup
Meteor.methods({
test: function(arg) {
console.log('test'+arg);
return 'test'+arg;
}
});
});
}
