Save mbbx6spp/925e4dd3763d72115e88 to your computer and use it in GitHub Desktop.
As a confluence alternative you can use dropbox paper.
I might even be better then confluence.
As a wiki alternative TiddlyWiki seems like a good option too
Self-hosted JIRA alternative for Mac OSx server ???
Is there a self-hosted jira like software for mac os serves platform? (sadly jira is not supporter for Mac OS server). We would like to use for a team of 4-8 using mac os, and our intension to run server on Mac OS server self-hosted. (not cloud).
Any idea? any experience with some alternatives?
thanks is advance for the answers.

One more alternative to JIRA - YouTrack
You can also check out Slite as a Confluence alternative for notes/docs/wiki: it's user-friendly, has a real-time editor and is overall super collaborative.
Another good chat alternative is [Discord](https://discordapp.com/. While it's not specialized for business it has many features that are very nice to have like voice channels and webhooks (with slack webhooks support)
https://www.notion.so is a good documentation tool (web application with an iOS application) (has todos and other features as well)
@scottwarren I'm using notion right now, the best Wiki App so far. But the pricing is terrible: 8$ per user and month from the beginning on. Other SaaS products like Confluence (10 users for 10$), Git, Bitbucket, etc. offer a staggered pricing.
If you are evaluating an idea in a team you are screwed after a few weeks because you reach the limit of 1000 blocks and have to pay (in our case) 48$ a month for something that is slightly better than confluence without any option of self hosting.
Crowdbase has been shutdown.
https://slab.com/ is another option with emphasis on simplicity, maintaining easy to navigate organization as the team is growing, and integrating with other solutions (Github, Slack, Asana, Airtable are some examples).
Disclaimer: I work at Slab.
https://zulipchat.com is a free self-hosted alternative to hipchat.
Well that's one great list there, thanks a lot !
I'd like to share one more alternative our team created, it's a free tool called Zenkit, we'd love to have tour opinion on it:
https://zenkit.com/en/alternatives/jira-alternative/
I would suggest a Confluence alternative: https://archbee.io
Archbee is the documentation app for engineers.
Realtime knowledge base for your team, product docs for your customers.
How is Archbee different? Well, we focus on providing developer teams the best possible experience.
We are not a generic solution, meaning: you'll get a powerful realtime editor with diagramming capabilities,
Swagger, GraphQL, real code editor (Visual Studio Code embedder).
Disclaimer: I am the founder of Archbee
Good morning :) Thank you very much for the list - I would also suggest Kanban http ://kanbantool.com. I tent to use it every day to organize my professional life. Recommend it strongly for all the people who struggle to organize and arrange their daily duties :)
Could you also add Gitea solution?
I'lll second adding Jetbrain's Youtrack as a Jira alternative
Which of these are open source? Thanks :)
Tiagra
Ticketing? Of course you are missing Azure Boards!
As for the email from today, that Atlassian ends the support for self hosted server.. most important site right now.
But as far as I can see, no real alternative (with plugins) for Confluence.
https://backlog.com/ - a replacement of Jira + Confluence + Bitbucket.
We recently switched from Confluence to AllAnswered and really loved it. AllAnswered combines Wiki documents like Confluence and Questions & Answers similar to Stack Overflow. Great product and very easy to use. Here is their website https://www.allanswered.com
Check out Drupal Wiki as Confluence alternative. Can be self-hosted (on premise) and has almost the same structure and functionality as Confluence - even content migration from Confluence is possible see Migrate from Confluence to Drupal Wiki.
Check out Doctave if you're looking for a developer-friendly Confluence alternative that uses a docs-as-code approach. You can also use the open source documentation site generator for free. (Disclaimer: founder here)
Jira alternative (on-premises and open source) --> OpenProject (https://github.com/opf/openproject)
I would shamelessly add my project, Docmost, as an open-source alternative to Atlassian Confluence, with real-time collaboration.
Github: https://github.com/docmost/docmost
Website: https://docmost.com
Why dont you try Documize https://github.com/documize/community, no limits now per user
